Looking to get the most use out of your Halloween costume? Here are some of the events happening around Benton County for Halloween and Trick-or-Treat hours.
Fowler’s annual Fright night will begin on Friday with Business Trick-or-Treating from 3-6 p.m. Oct. 28.The annual Costume Contest will take place at Monarch Commons at 6:30 p.m. Costume Contest age groups are: 0-12 months, 13-35 months, 3-5 years, 6-8 years, 9-12 years and 13 years and older, plus the group category. It will also include a pumpkin decorating contest (bring your own pumpkins from home, pre-decorated.) There will be a bike raffle for costume contestants. Costume Contest Rain Date will be 5:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at Monarch Commons.
At 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28, in Fowler there will be a Ghost Walk hosted by the Fowler Theatre for ages 16 and older. Meet at Monarch Commons and stroll through town learning about its spooky history.
Town-wide residential Trick-or-Treating in Fowler will be 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31 (Rain or Shine).
In Oxford, town-wide Trick-or-Treating will take place from 4:30 – 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 29.Trunkor Treat will be from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on the North side of the square. The costume parade will be at 7:15 p.m. on the West side of the town square. New this year will be a movie on the Square immediately following the Parade. In case of inclement weather the parade and movie will be cancelled.
Oxford will also host a Youth Program Halloween Party from 2-4 p.m. Oct. 29 with snacks, races, Spooky Story and games at the Oxford Lions Club. Wear your costume if you want. Music provided by The Grown Up DJ.
In Boswell, townwide Trick-or-Treat hours will be from 6-8 p.m. on Monday Oct. 31.There will also be a Trunk-or-Treat hosted by Boswell Rotary and other community partners during those same hours at the Free Methodist Church Parking Lot on Old 41.
Sponsored by the Earl Park Lions Club, Earl Park Trunk-or-Treat will be from 3-5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30 at the Earl Park Community Park. Community members are invited to come up and decorate their vehicle and pass out candy.There will be a prize for Best Decorated Vehicle. Costume Contest for Ages: 0-3, 4-7, 8-11, 12+, & Group.
Town-wide Trick-or- Treating in Otterbein will take place from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 31.
