Jenny Lynn (Barrier) Kemple

 

 

Jenny Lynn (Barrier) Kemple, 39, of Mulberry and formerly of Oxford, passed away unexpectedly on August 28, 2023.

Jenny was born in Anderson, Ind., on March 12, 1984, the daughter of James and Teresa (Bishir) Barrier. Jenny graduated from Benton Central High School with the Class of 2002.

Following graduation, Jenny attended Ivy Tech Community College and worked at Arnett Physicians Family Medicine in Frankfort, Ind. as a Certified Medical Assistant. For the past 8 years, Jenny stayed at home to take care of her son, Hayden Kemple, 16 years of age, and her 7-year-old “trio”, Logan, Addison, and Jackson Kemple. On May 2, 2011, she married her highschool sweetheart Brandon Kemple and he survives.

Jenny enjoyed spending all her time with her family. She also enjoyed painting; going to her children’s sporting events, going to the beach, and her nights out with her friends. Despite the amount of love, she had for her family, Jenny always shared her love and selflessness towards everyone she knew and loved. She always puts others before herself, especially her husband and her children, and she will be missed immensely.

Jenny is survived by her loving husband, Brandon; children, Hayden, Logan, Addison, Jackson; parents, James Barrier, Teresa (Bishir) Barrier; siblings, Rami (Christopher) Haught, Mandy (Michael) Wolber, Jake Barrier; mother-in-law, Cathy (Dave) Adwell- Jenkins; father-in-law, Tom Kemple; sister-in-law, Angela Kemple- Tyson; brother-in-law, Blake (Christy) Kemple; grandmother-in-law, Nancy Chase; step-brother-in-law, Tyler (Amanda) Jenkins; step-sister-in-law, Ashlynn Jenkins, step-brother-in-law, Levi Jenkins; eight nieces and nephews; many aunts and uncles.

Jenny is preceded in death by her step-motherin law, Sandy Kemple; grandparents, Bud and Jenny Bishir, William Barrier, Monnie Malcomb; grandparent in-laws, Jack and Bernadine Adwell, Denny Chase; and a beloved, never forgotten, cousin, Jennifer Lee Selman.

A Memorial Mass will be, Thursday, September 7, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 504 S. Michigan St., Oxford, with Father John Kiefer officiating.
