Sectional Champions

The Lady Bison tennis team won the Fountain Central sectional last week defeating the host Mustangs in the final 4-1. This is only the third tennis sectional championship in Benton Central school history, last time occurring in 2006. Team members are: Kinlyn Yadon, Rachel Tolen, Amsley Harrell, Sophie Cobb, Ellie Wetli, Kourtney Sarault and Hayley Todd. Earlier in the sectional B.C. defeated tough opponents in Seeger 3-2 and Covington 4-1. Benton Central faced Crawfordsville in the Regional on May 23.
